Stage 4 Cancer brought many challenges--and also a host of loving and praying friends. Almost-daily postings to this site are to help my friends walk with me through this journey, and to express my gratitude to them and especially to God...On 7/8/08 Carol passed through that final curtain of death and is now healed. No, this isn't my hand, nor is it in our yard. A friend sent this to us. It's just so spectacular I wanted to share it with you. We do have hummers like these in our yard, and we're thrilled to watch them at our feeders. When they fly nearby, their wings create a deep rumble.

My header says it was my very serious cancer that got me to start a blog. But cancer doesn't define me. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I treasure my relatives and friends.
