Carol Wilson Update

Stage 4 Cancer brought many challenges--and also a host of loving and praying friends. Almost-daily postings to this site are to help my friends walk with me through this journey, and to express my gratitude to them and especially to God...On 7/8/08 Carol passed through that final curtain of death and is now healed. We thank God for her life and "arrival"! Chuck

Out of surgery

The doctor was able to move Carol's surgery ahead of the planned schedule and she is now out of surgery and back in her room. A liter of fluid was removed from her right lung and a line is now available when the need arises in the future.

Carol is a bit disappointed that she will not be able to go home today because of continuing "upsets" during the night. If all goes well today, we anticipate her return home tomorrow.

We're so privileged to be part of your "everlasting arms" team, Carol & Chuck--and Sue! Continuing to ask Him to "descend from the heavens in majestic splendor to help you" with those "everlasting arms" continuing underneath.

Chuck, I prayed especially for you on your Day a couple days ago; what a challenge the Lord gives us through you to keep foremost a desire to get glory for His name, and the realization that it's God who does it, not me. Belated happy birthday, Chuck!
